West Coast Authentic Sports Memorabilia Facebook Fan Page Timeline Cover Golden Puck contest

This is a great example of not only a well designed, eye catching Timeline Cover Photo, but local Kelowna company West Coast Authentic Sports Memorabilia is using the new Timeline format to run an 8 week aEoefind the golden puckaE¯ contest to engage Facebook visitors, keep them coming back to their Fan Page, and generating traffic to their website too.

Even though we all had to put time into our Facebook page to comply with the new timeline, data are showing that the new time line has little to no effect on the level of engagement. This should not come as a complete surprise, since the news feed has not changed. And this is where most of the engagement takes place. This last statement begs the question, why all this upheaval. Why the change to the new timeline. Was this really necessary. What do you think. How do you feel about the new Facebook timeline? Are you used to it yet? Do you like it better now that you have had time to think about it some more? I would love to hear your feedback. Leave it in the comments below.

To your success,
