I have mentioned it many times, if you want one way back links to your site, social bookmarking is the easiest and fastest way to achieve your goal. One thing you have to pay attention to though is whether the social bookmarking site of your choice is “do-follow”. To help you with this process, here is a list of some do-follow sites that you can use for this strategy, with the page rank of each site between brackets:
- Spurl.net (6)
- Diigo.com (7)
- Bibsonomy.org (7)
- Linkagogo.com (6)
- Buddy Marks (6)
- MyLinkVault (6)
- A1 Webmarks (5)
- Dizzed (2)
- Health Ranker (0)
- Blinklist.com (7)
- Mister-wong.com (8)
- Jumptags (6)
- OYAX (4)
- Bookmark Tracker (4)
- SmakNews (6)
- iZeby (3)
Notice that none of the big sites (Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious etc. are on the list!). Although it is very beneficial to use these sites, don’t count on back links from any of them.
Remember to bookmark all pages that point back to your website. So, if you are leaving a comment here, make sure to bookmark this page on some or (preferably) all of these do-follow sites. Since I am using Disqus for the commenting, you should also bookmark your disqus page. Simply log into your Disqus account and go to your own comments on your profile page (http://disqus.com/profile/mycomments/). It should look something like this:
All these comments should link back to your web site and add to the authority of your site.
