As the last article in my series on article marketing I want to share with you a way to give your article a boost using social bookmarking. Obviously, bookmarking your article is always a smart thing to do, but that is not what I am talking about today.
Today I am going to show you a way to get your article featured in the “Most Viewed” and “Most Published” sections of EzineArticles. This will undoubtedly give you more backlinks and more exposure.
The Most Published section is easier to get into, so that is where we will start. In order to get into the Most Published section, you need to get the most clicks to your EzinePublisher link. So, you should be promoting both your article and your EzinePublisher link outside of EzineArticles. Social bookmarking is an outstanding way to do this, but Twitter and a few other sources will work also.
You start out by grabbing the URL for your article. You can find the link underneath the article in a box that reads “Share This”. Click on the EzinePublisher link and grab the URL that should look something like this: http://ezinearticles.com/ezinepublisher/?id=751128.
Now that you have your URL you should start by submitting it to the various social bookmarking sites like DIgg, StumbleUpon, Delicious etc. Once you are done with that you should send out some tweets and publish on the other microblogging platforms.
Your campaign will result in a lot of views of your publisher page, allowing you to make it to the “Most Published” page. Once your article is placed in the “Most Published” section, it will be placed on every article within your specific category. You will get more exposure and a lot more link juice!
To get into the “Most Viewed” section, you follow the same strategy, but this time with the URL of the article and not the publisher URL. Just keep promoting until you reach one or both sections.
Did you like this article? If so, I encourage you to bookmark it for me. After all, you did visit the site of a social bookmarking community. Also tell us what you do to promote your articles.
