That is when the Social Traffic Club was born!

Internet marketing is an attractive way to make a living. It has a low entry barrier and it has the potential to make a lot of money. That is why a lot of people give it a try. Statistics show that only 3% of those that try actually succeed.

I have read many reasons why this number is so low. Obviously, there is the “get rich quick” myth, that gets people excited. Once they dive in, they find out that there is no such thing. It turns out that an online business is also a true business, with all the tasks and duties that come with it.

While you are busy with the day-to-day chaos of running your business and your life, you get an avalanche of conflicting advice and “information” dumped in your lap.

One person tells you to get ‘this’ tool or ‘that’ ebook, and the next person tells you it’s garbage. They all have an answer, and almost ‘none’ of them are speaking from experience.

This week a ‘magic blueprint’ is going to save you, next week it is some weird ‘loophole’ in Google or Twitter or… whatever – and who knows what crazy thing it’ll be next week! Don’t tell me you have not experienced it yourself. So, how can you break this pattern. How can you stop getting side tracked. How can you stay focussed on what is truly important, so that you can achieve the success that you have been working so hard for?

That is exactly the question I asked myself about 2 years ago. And I have found the answers. I am finally at the point where I am able and willing to share my findings with all of you. The scientist in me had to proof it to myself first before telling you about it.

I am willing to share with you all my tools and knowledge to get traffic to your website. I tested it on my own site first. So, I know it works. You can easily check it out. Just like you, I started at an Alexa ranking bigger than 1,000,000. Today it is around 170,000, and my goal is to get within the 100,000 best trafficed sites in the world.

Social Traffic Club Member Card

So, what does this mean for you? It means that I am starting the “Social Traffic Club”. And I invite you to become a part of it. Within the Social Traffic Club I share my knowledge, and I give you an opportunity to share your knowledge and ask your questions, so that you can make progress towards your goal, without wasting time.

As a matter of fact, one of the things I will do is give you as many tools as I can to help you save time, without jeopardizing the output. For example, I hate most article spinners. The outcome is garbage in 90% of the cases. So, you will not find an article spinner in the Social Traffic Club.

On the other hand I have found a way to shorten the time to find a good topic for my next blog post. I use my own content research tool and it works great. Not only does it shorten my research time for a topic, but it also helps me to find new ideas for topics to write about. In short, this tool works. So, I will share it with you.

Also, when I started using social media to get traffic, I spent way too much time writing comments, approving friends and inviting other friends, etc. To get this problem under control I made my own step-by-step action plan. And it works! So, I will share that with you also.

I hope you get the picture. I test it, make sure it works and add it to the Social Traffic Club, for you to use. I invite you to join me in the Social Traffic Club. There is no cost involved. All you have to do, is go to the home page. Watch the video (if you want) and register, using the form underneath the video. Or, if you have heard enough and want to get in, simply use the form at the top right corner next to this post to register.

I hope you are just as excited about this opportunity as I am. I am looking forward to sharing lots of information with you, knowing that this is what you need to succeed online! And if you ever are stuck, and need help, the forum will be a great place to collaborate with like minded people.

I hope to see you on the inside.

You make a lot of good points in your post Karin, but I’m going to take this down a little different path. It’s not just in network marketing that people are failing. In my opinion to be thought of as being successful in any business you have to be making at least $200k per year (not the old $100k). If you look at the US, the 2007 statistic are that only 2.67% of the people are making over $200k. Now let’s look at entrepreneurs in brick and mortar businesses. For those businesses having less than 20 employees only 9% survive 10 years or more. Bottom line, being an entrepreneur is easier than you think, but and here’s the big but. People fail or give up because they do not have an absolute burning desire to succeed. If they did they would never give up. They would rather go back to their comfort zone, job and etc. Go to this and you’ll see what it takes: http://prosperyourmind.blog.com/2010/05/24/are-you-burning-your-boats/

Hey Karin, being in this industry for only three years, I can see why there is such a low success rate in andy business endeavour. Like Michael pointed out, people fail becuase they give up. They give up because a) their ‘Why’ is just not big or strong enough and b) because they don’t know How to be persistant and consistant. As Aristotle point out millenia ago, We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. If you want to run a marathon, you train to do a marathon. If your are looking to be persistant, you can train for that too.
I love that that you have taken the inititiative with the Social Traffic Club. It’s a great concept and I wish you great success with it. :)

    Hi Karin,
Thanks…I like what you are saying about social media…and the offers you get each and everyday. Most are hype ads, I do not go for them…I am looking for people that will be friends and business partners for the long run. Network marketing is a marathon not a sprint…and you could stop just before the success.

Hey Karin what you are providing is so desired and needed in this industry. The problem with the industry is there are too many people just looking to make a buck by shoving some affiliate program at you. Unfortunately not all of these are good. I found some of the best information available can be found for free by people just like you. Thank you for stepping up and giving the people what they need.

How true Karin. I find that I suffer less when I surf the net with my credit cards locked up in the safe. Clever written enticements can capture the best at times. A good idea will always look good if you wait a day to think about it. The Social Traffic Club looks like a great tool to assist those with the Buyers urge. Thanks for a great Post.

Wow Karin, you are really stepping up and taking on success. I appreciate your willingness to do this. And I know it will enrich your life. I did want to add, there is one spinner that is very high quality, and it is the Article Notepad that comes with Automatic Article Submitter. I love it because it does nothing unless you specifically write it. So every version is your own variation written personally by you. It turns out beautiful, correct and proper articles every time, under your total control. I very much appreciate what you said about the constant distractions and new promises. Choose your mentors and method and stick to it.

The failure rate must have something to do with the type of people who are attracted to get rich quick schemes. They jump in and then realize they actually have to do the work and build a business. This social traffic club sounds great and article spinning sounds dreadful, especially since I value my writing so much. I know we all take a change when we put our content out on the internet. Thanks for sharing this with us Karin.

Yes, Karin, too many people see the internet as a get rich quick medium but never really give it a chance. 3% is desperately low when there is such a big opportunity out there. The trick is to choose wisely in the beginning and then never give in, stick with it. The problem is, so many people are selling “how to” stuff out there that you can be easily distracted. I have certainly fallen into that trap! So be careful in your initial choices and then FOCUS like never before and find people you like and stick with them too!
    Love the blog, thank you

    Hi Karin
I love your approach, you understand that business is about building from a foundation, consistent action and delivering more value than you expect back! I look forward to connecting in your social Traffic club. I have found life online very frustrating for exactly the reasons you lay out. I have had many stops and starts which is really not like me but I have never seemed to get past the bombardment of spam and the sheer volume of input that success in social media seems to take. I am really interested in a daily action plan, I haven’t seen too many of those out there. Keep up the great work!

    Hey Karin!

Your Social Traffic Club is excellent! I think you’re onto something ;)

Having a plan is a smart way to go about social media marketing. If you go about it haphazardly you’ll get mediocre results. You’ve got to have a goal, and purpose and create valuable content based around that.

    Thanks for sharing Karin!
