RSS feedToday I am covering a way to increase the traffic to your site very effectively, without spending an enormous amount of extra time to achieve your goal. I am assuming that you have a website and that you are adding quality content to that site on a regular basis.
In order to get more traffic you need to increase the visibility of your site. An easy way that takes very little time, is to bookmark your new content page to the social bookmarking platforms using a social bookmarking tool such as Onlywire or SocialMarker. Both will let you submit your content to many social bookmarking sites at once.
This part is easy to grasp for most of us. What makes it harder is the fact that you are considered a spammer if you only submit your own content. In my opinion, you are not only a spammer, but not a very smart one of top of it. Because what stops you from bookmarking other websites that you come across daily while surfing the web? Especially, if you are commenting on someone else’s content, you should bookmark that page. That creates more links back to your site!
If time is of the essence (and even if it is not) nothing is simpler than to bookmark any site of interest that you come across during your daily exploration of the web. This way you are building a profile that shows your interests, which will interest others with similar interests, and it gives you the opportunity to bookmark your own content whenever it becomes available.
You will find that once you get into the habit of doing this, time is not a restricting factor. It does not take a lot of your time and it does create one way links back to your website and visibility on the social bookmarking sites. Both will have a positive impact on the traffic to your site.
